Pelletized Activated Carbon

High-strength cylindrical pellets engineered for gas-phase and high-pressure applications.

Devi’s Powdered Activated Carbon is engineered in particulate form to provide a high surface-to-volume ratio with a small diffusion distance. It is manufactured by crushing or grinding carbon particles, which are then passed through designated mesh sieves and further pulverized into a fine powder.
• Key Features: Designed for rapid adsorption and batch treatment processes. It features a high degree of micro-porosity and enhanced adsorption properties suitable for both domestic and industrial applications.
• Primary Uses: Batch treatment and applications requiring high-efficiency adsorption in short contact times

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) is a durable form of carbon typically produced from high-carbon raw materials like Bamboo. The manufacturing process involves steam and chemical activation at extreme temperatures ranging from 600°C to 1200°C to build a highly permeable structure with a vast surface area.
• Key Features: Optimized for durability and long-term use in flow systems. Its high level of porosity includes a wide scope of pore sizes, from visible fissures to sub-atomic crevices.
• Primary Uses: Ideal for fixed-bed systems, continuous flow operations, and regeneration systems.

Pelletized activated carbon consists of high-strength cylindrical pellets created by extruding activated carbon into diameters typically ranging from 0.8 to 5 mm.
• Key Features: The uniform shape and high mechanical strength make pellets ideal for applications where low-pressure drop is critical. Pellets are environmentally responsible as they can be thermally reactivated and reused multiple times.
• Primary Uses: Specifically engineered for gas-phase and high-pressure applications, including the removal of mercury and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from natural gas, as well as industrial odor control.
